Our Mission
ANPA New Jersey is dedicated to advancing the health of Nigerians and underserved communities worldwide while fostering professional excellence among its members. We:
- Promote dialogue on health issues affecting Nigerians and develop practical, targeted solutions.
- Collaborate internationally on research to improve healthcare in Nigeria, the Americas, and beyond.
- Support members’ growth through continuing education, networking, and mentorship.
- Host the Biennial Fundraising Gala to address pressing health topics such as HIV, women’s and children’s health, environmental health, and physician training.
- Provide free healthcare through medical outreach and participation in ANPA National medical missions in Nigeria, Africa, the Caribbean, and other underserved regions.
- Maintain an active directory of Nigerian physicians in New Jersey, fostering referrals, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing.
- Engage in ongoing healthcare discussions through social media and electronic communication platforms.
- Partner with ANPA National in policy dialogues with African leaders, including the President of Nigeria and the Minister of Health, to advocate for healthcare improvements.
